Village Roast Duck started in 2010. Our famous roast duck is prepared by filling the duck with assorted seasonings and hanging it inside a charcoal grill to let the heating temperature do its job. A perfect roast duck looks gleamingly crispy yet juicy without the slightest stench and is usually complemented with some taste-enhancing dipping sauce. Guangdong people label “fuming” as “roasting”, and it has been one of the most primitive cooking methods, albeit with several Cantonese improvements, that it has made the roast duck the fine delicacy it is today.
